Its naturally on key so i like it enough to write this short review. I like the feeling it gives me. I like an artist who has something to say, next to Iggy.

18 years it took to make this one hour, ten new tracks followup to the 93 "The Supreme Court Goes Electric", and i think that this time the world is ready for The Supreme Court.

Joining Glenn Phillips on this album is vocalist Jeff Calder, and Anne Richmond Boston of the Swimming Pool Q's, and on bass there's Mike Holbrook (Hampton Grease Band!) plus Bill Rea (bass) and Bob Andre on drums.

If you ask a young person, a musician, perhaps a guitarist of today, to listen to two albums, one from 78 and one from today, he will notice that the lyrics has changed, he will say, "they were better in those days". And then you play him something like this comeback of the Supreme Court, you play, lets say "the unknown word", and you show him that it can still be good and moving, and my keyboard is slipping, i'm writing fast, fast of inspiration.
Some artists, like Glenn Phillips, and Iggy, really has "something to say", and you ought to pay attention. It may sound as entertainment but it isn't really, it's something with a message. Align you antenna, they'll put a missile in your chimney soon enough, don't you worry.

More mint, for breakfast: mojito. 400 pound vibe just continues. great music, difficult to master.

Sun Hex is what the older grown up brother would be playing after he'd gotten tired of television's adventure-album, if that's even possible to imagine.

Great music, but it will take an effort to get through it. An acquired taste.
Crazy, dangerous tunes that will sound different every time you play the album. But that's the the way it should be, the way it was meant to be Who could ask for more?

Wild man Fischer died on june 16. May he rest in peace.

Buy the album directly from Glenn Phillips, or from iTunes and read the story.

Highly recommended.

p.s also check out another awesome album where Glenn Phillips is playing: Electric Willy (Henry Kaiser/Elliott Sharp/Queen Esther et al project)
